Mark Kandel and his family will be taking in the Tribe game versus the New York Yankees on Sunday, July 10th from their very own private loge at Progressive Field. The Perry Township family purchased their winning raffle ticket from 17u Canton Spike Stone King. Collectively, Spikes parents and players sold 620 tickets and raised $12,400 to help defray their season expenses which include the cost of uniforms, umpires, baseballs and tournaments. The drawing was held the evening of June 30th at Diamond Dreams Sports Academy, training home of the Spikes. Randy McGill, owner of Diamond Dreams and long-time Cleveland Indians season ticket holder, drew the winning ticket. Thank you to all who purchased tickets and congratulations to the Kandels on their good fortune and to Spikes families on a job well done!
